With originals of HOUSE and LIE TO ME, last night was FOX’s most-watched Monday night in Total Viewers so far this season with entertainment programming.
At 8p HOUSE posted a 3.7/10 among Adults 18-49, up +6% versus last week (3.5/9). HOUSE was the rated program of the night in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54 and key demos and won the 8p hour among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54 and virtually all key demos.
LIE TO ME at 9p delivered a 2.5/6 among Adults 18-49 and grew +39% vs. last week’s telecast (1.8/4). In fact, LIE TO ME posted its highest ratings in over one year among Adults 18-49 (since 11/30/09) and in Total Viewers (since 10/19/09).
In addition, LIE TO ME outperformed its prior season average with originals by +32% in Adults 18-49 (2.5/6 vs. 1.9/5) and +38% in Total Viewers (7.7 vs. 5.6 Mil.) LIE TO ME ranked #3 in the 9p hour among Adults 18-49, #2 in Adults 18-34 and #1 in Men 18-34.
FOX won the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Adults 25-54.
Competition
On ABC, The Bachelor posted a 2.8/7 from 8-10p, up slightly (+4%) from last week. So far, The Bachelor is down -24% from its comparable date range last year (2.8/7 vs. 3.7/9). Castle closed out the night with a 2.4/7, up +14% from its low-rated telecast last week.
CBS aired repeats of How I Met Your Mother (2.3/6), Rules of Engagement (2.2/6), Two and a Half Men (3.0/8), Mike & Molly (2.6/6), and Hawaii Five-0 (1.7/5).
Following NBC’s Chuck (2.0/5, down -5%), week three of new drama The Cape (1.6/4) was its lowest so far, down -11% from its second telecast (1.8/4). At 10p, Harry’s Law (2.1/6) was down a tenth from its series premiere last week.
