Strong quarterly reports from some major banks gave encouragement to the stock market on Monday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 81 points, or 0.7%, to 11,144. Broadcasting stocks were left out.
The RBR Radio Index was down 0.117, or 0.04%, to 284.740.
The TVBR Television Index was down 1.424, or 0.70%, to 202.919.
