In a reversal of the previous day, the job news from the government on Friday was bad – a 4th straight month of job losses in September – and that made Wall Streeters bullish on stocks because it puts pressure on the Fed to keep buying bonds to pump money into the economy. The Dow Jones Industrial Average pushed back above 11K, rising 58 points, or 0.5%, to 11,006. Broadcasting stocks moved up across the board with the market.
The RBR Radio Index was up 6.161, or 2.3%, to 277.832.
The TVBR Television Index was up 4.271, or 2.2%, to 200.116.
