The Dow Industrials fell after two straight days of strong gains, dropping six points to 9,726. But the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite both inched up on expectations of good earnings reports coming in the next few weeks. Radio stocks gained a bit over all, while TV stocks were down a bit.
The RBR Radio Index rose 1.085, or 0.8%, to 142.881.
The TVBR Television Index fell 1.240, or 1.1%, to 113.548.
