This is the North Carolina Fayetteville, where Cumberland A&A Corporation’s WCIE-AM Inc., headed by Gardner H. Altman Jr., is getting WFAY-AM in a deal that will pair up two AM stations. The seller is Norsan Consulting and Management Inc., a regional group with nine other stations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Florida. It’s headed by Norbert Sanchez, who will make $350K cash. WFAY will combine with WFBX-AM Spring Lake NC. Cumberland owns two other stations, in Ahoskie NC and Atlantic Beach SC.
