The former publisher of People en Español, who joined NBCUniversal’s Telemundo Spanish-language broadcast TV network in April 2008 as COO and shifted to the Chief Marketing Officer role in May 2014, is set to depart.

A network spokesperson confirms to RBR + TVBR that Jacqueline Hernández is leaving the company. Telemundo declined to offer an official statement on her pending exit, which is set for March 17.

From 2008-2014, Hernández was responsible for all domestic revenue overseeing ad sales, as well as the digital, cable, consumer marketing divisions, and the cable network mun2, now known as NBC Universo.

Before taking the reins at glossy powerhouse People‘s Spanish-language sibling, for years the No. 1 Hispanic magazine by ad revenue, in 2004, Hernández spent four years as VP/Integrated Marketing & Global Sales Sponsorships for  Turner Broadcasting’s CNN International, TNT Latin America and Cartoon Network.
