Suddenlink blacks out Viacom offerings

ViacomIf you listened to nothing but MVPDs complaining to the FCC and Congress, you’d think that everything would be hunky-dory if it were not for broadcasters and their pesky retransmission consent requests. But it turns out they also fight amongst cable channels over retransmission fees.

Viacom provides cable channels such as Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, MTV and BET among others, and its offerings are disappearing from Suddenlink systems.
