Trump Pumps It Up With TV Spots

Don’t look now, but The Donald is closing in on Hillary.


That’s the case, at least, when examining the number of TV spots for each presidential candidate’s campaign for the ten-day period ending Oct. 9, as measured by Media Monitors.

The latest local media monitoring focused on the 2016 U.S. presidential election and the spots that both parties have been running on TV in 61 top DMAs shows that in the latest measurement period, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s campaign aired 12,741 TV spots.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s campaign ran 8,937 spots during that same period.
