Hubbard doubles in Albany NY

Hubbard Broadcasting, the Minnesota-based group with both broadcast and television interests, is adding a second television station in New York’s capital market, Albany-Schenectady-Troy. It currently brings NBC programming to the market.

The Hubbard station is Channel 13 WNYT. It reported news of the deal on its own website.

The station it is acquiring is MNT Channel 4 WNYA.

Hubbard will begin selling time on the station via a JSA until the deal with seller Venture Technologies Group closes. Other terms were not revealed.
