South107Cox Media Group is adding a Local Marketing Agreement to its Atlanta stations with Women’s World Broadcasting’s 107.1 WTSH, currently known as South 107.1, a Country station based in Rome, GA. It’s 60 miles NW of Atlanta, but 100-kW.  The agreement is effective immediately, and no decisions have been made regarding the format future for this property. Rome Radio Partners previously LMA’d the signal from Women’s World.

WTSH also has a co-channel translator located downtown that extends the reach of 107.1. South 107 covers northwest Georgia and reaches into Cobb County. Engineers have worked to make the new W296BB Jonesboro, GA simulcast with minimal interference on 107.1 where their contours overlap. It’s 13 watts @ 344 ft. HAAT.

W296BB is located on the WSB-TV tower near Freedom Parkway and covers downtown Atlanta expanding outward.

“We’re thrilled our Atlanta Radio team has added another great property to our top-shelf portfolio,” said CMG Atlanta Radio’s VP and Market Manager Ben Reed. “We look forward to integrating WTSH into our content and sales strategy while engaging a socially-savvy demographic.”

CMG Atlanta also operates News WSB 95.5 FM/750 AM, B 98.5 FM, WSRV The River 97.1 FM, and WALR Kiss 104.1 FM.
