Arbitron moves its dividend payment forward

0

Shareholders of Arbitron, the ratings firm about to fold into Nielsen, were expecting to receive a dividend early in 2013. That has changed – they can now expect to receive it late in 2012.

What hasn’t changed is who gets to participate. You must have been a shareholder as of 12/14/12, a date which is now in the past.

The payment is $0.10 per share (part of an annualized $0.40 dividend).

The change simply moves the payment from one side of the yearly divide to the other: instead of being paid on or about 1/2/13, it will be paid on or about 12/31/12.
