98.7 AMP Radio launching Buck and Coop in mornings

98.7 AMPCBS Radio’s 98.7 AMP Radio Detroit announced afternoon driver Buck “Buck Head” Wise will move to mornings 4/9. Sean “Coop” Tabler will join him on AMP with from sister Country station 99.5 WYCD, where he served as the evening host. 


Buck Head started his radio career at 17 in Tampa. He’s worked at stations in Las Vegas, LA, Detroit, Portland, Oregon and Pittsburgh.  He joined 98.7 AMP Radio as afternoon drive host in 2010. Coop, a Virginia Beach native, has worked as an on-air personality at stations in Evansville, Indiana, Seattle and Pittsburgh before touching down at WYCD in 2010.

Gillian Reilly will serve as the show’s executive producer.  She’s worked as a traffic producer, traffic reporter and on-air personality since starting her radio career in 2009.  Will Kosnik, who has worked as an on-air personality and executive producer at WYCD for the past four years, will act as the show’s technical producer.
