What A Fully-Seated FCC Can Enable, As LeGeyt Sees It

On Thursday, the U.S. Senate confirmed Anna Gomez to serve as a Commissioner of the FCC, ending a three-year-plus chair absence fueled by the Biden Administration’s failed plan to seat Gigi Sohn, who withdrew her nomination earlier this year.


Following the approval of Gomez, despite widespread Republican opposition to her nomination, NAB President/CEO Curtis LeGeyt took pen to paper to outline three important areas where he believes FCC action is necessary “to keep broadcasting strong and enable vital local news.”
