Serving Lee County, Va., is an AM/FM Country-formatted combo that serves a geographical area to the northwest of Kingsport, Tenn., and to the south of Cumberland, W. Va. Pending FCC approval, this radio pair will be heading to a new owner.

It possesses a Class D non-directional AM signal that allows it to reach some of St. Louis' western suburbs by day and an FM translator at 105.3 MHz placing a signal over its city of license of Troy, Mo.  Soon, this "Newsradio" station will be in the hands of a new owner.

Gray Television has gone a little "Retro" by getting into Florida's capital city with a purchase of a UHF station and its associated translator station. All it took was a little Budd deal. That's the top deal in RBR+TVBR's TRANSACTIONS TODAY for July 11, which also sees Channel 2 in Los Angeles sell for $200,000 — really.

The tranquil town of Red Lion, Pa., nestled to the southeast of York, Pa., has now attracted national headlines for another "zombie" capture. This time, there's a multi-million payment involved, and a big pay-day for the seller. The deal was signed and sealed on Aug. 29. However, it's only now been filed with the FCC.

In October, RBR+TVBR told you about "an ubiquitous presence at a trio of full-power radio stations and, today, three FM translators that all serve an area of Michigan to the west of Ann Arbor." This air personality agreed to become the stations' owner, and the deal has now closed.

The founder and CEO of Diya TV, serving South Asian consumers, has been active in recent weeks for his agreements to purchase low-powered TV stations in various locales across the U.S. His latest deal will put him in the middle of the biggest DMA in America.

Jeff Winemiller and his Lowcountry 34 Media has engaged in a series of transactions in recent months involving low-power television stations. On Thursday, he moved forward with the sale of six LPTV construction permits. The buyer? The company co-led by Pat LaPlatney and Hilton Howell Jr.

It uses digital Channel 30 and enjoys a PSIP of Channel 7. For the past year, it has been owned by Craig Ruark, who acquired the property from a Christian-focused broadcasting entity. Now, Ruark is spinning the LPTV station serving Southern Nevada.

Gray Television is a fan of low-power TV stations. It's been snatching up LPTV properties left and right across 2022. In the latest deal to involve the broadcast television company, it is purchasing a property serving the Lone Star State city of Tyler.

His Word Broadcasting has given its word that it will move forward with the sale of a low-powered television station licensed to Eugene, Ore. The buyer is also acquiring a TV translator, from a different seller — one that wants the station HWB is spinning.
