Winnekins Poses Skywave Compromise

FCCdoorBrian Winnekins loves AM radio. So much, in fact, he and his wife Karla revived WRDN in Durand, Wisconsin in 2012. The station had been off the air for nearly five years.

The battle over whether to continue skywave protection for clear channel stations is raging at the FCC as part of one agency proposal to help smaller AM owners, RBR+TVBR has reported.

Winnekins says there may be a compromise.
