Now comes word that Spike EVP/Original Programming Sharon Levy is about to get the axe, and will be succeeded by TV Land President and development head Keith Cox.

As reported by TheWrap, Levy will step down while Cox will assume the new role of President/Development & Production for TV Land and Paramount Network, the entity that will arrive in 2018 following Spike’s year-long transition from its current male-focused program slate.

Cox’s resume includes a stint as EVP/Comedy and Alternative Development at The WB Network, now part of The CW.

Levy has spent more than a decade at Viacom.
