Verizon comments on OTT rules

VerizonTelco giant Verizon is already in the video distribution game via its FiOS subscription service, and is contemplating an OTT offering. But it worries that the FCC might nip the OTT business in the bud.

The FCC is examining whether to bestow MVPD status on internet-only program distributors. It would come with certain rights, but would also add certain obligations.
