A New UI, Web Portal For A Popular Phantom

Inspired by feedback from both affiliates of the production tool and its partners, United Stations Radio Networks has announced the official launch of a new Phantom Producer website that features a “re-imagined user interface” (UI) known as the Sequencer.

The new UI offers users multiple viewing options that can be personalized to suit one’s individual needs, as well as improving usability and optimizing workflow.

In re-designing the interface, focus was placed on the user experience while keeping the platform as intuitive and accessible as it has always been, USRN notes.

“Phantom Producer’s search and navigation functions were improved and they now provide simple yet comprehensive access to all of the imaging and music content available to subscribers,” the company notes. “Additionally, new back-end efficiencies have made ‘patience’ and ‘waiting’ completely a thing of the past. With full ‘iPush’ functionality, mixed audio pieces with station elements embedded can be created and sent directly to the radio station’s play-out system in just a matter of seconds.”

The new Phantom Producer UI also automatically syncs with the service’s Android and iOS apps to ensure imaging made “on the go’ is stored and managed on the user’s desktop computer, USRN’s EVP/Programming Andy Denemark and Phantom Producer creator and Executive Producer Jeff Thomas note.

Phantom Producer is a radio imaging service offering their services for CHR, “Hot Country,” “Mainstream Country,” AC, Hot AC, Classic Rock, Rock, and Classic Hits radio stations. There is also an additional service exclusive to morning shows.

Affiliates may attach newly created imaging material with their own station ID’s and jingles embedded and the finished mixed files can be shared with the user’s office or studio via text, email, desktop sync or to the station’s server through an ftp connection.

USRN was founded in 1994 by the late Dick Clark, and Nick Verbitsky.
