What’s Univision On Now?

One of the nation’s biggest draws for Hispanics who prefer to consume Spanish-language television is heading to DirecTV NOW.

The new AT&T streaming service is set to add all of Univision Communications’ O&O stations and cable networks — the result of a multiplatform distribution agreement reached with the company and AT&T.

When DirecTV Now launches in Q4, it will boast local Univision and UniMás affiliates, the pay-TV Galavisión and Univision Deportes networks, and English-language multicultural millennial player Fusion.

The expanded agreement also includes TV Everywhere rights and allows for DirecTV and AT&T U-verse customers to stream Univision’s live and on-demand content.

DirecTV NOW will debut with 100+ channels, including live and on-demand programming from top networks, as well as premium add-on options.

Customers will be able to access and stream the service over a wired or wireless Internet connection using a variety of connected devices without requiring additional hardware, satellites, long-term contracts or credit checks.
