Union, Advertiser Bargaining Talks Underway
SAG-AFTRA has begun contract negotiations with the advertising industry.
The current contracts, which cover commercials delivered over radio, television, Internet and mobile devices, expire March 31.
The union and the advertising industry’s Joint Policy Committee, representing major advertisers and agencies, said they look forward to a productive bargaining process.
The increase in non-union work and compensation for Internet advertising are among the issues to be discussed, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
