Stations acquired by Townsquare Media as part of its Cumulus/Peak deals were forced into a trust as part of a series of events that if portrayed with the proper symbolism could provide the plot for a 1930s Hollywood screwball comedy. The company asked the FCC for a waiver to rectify the situation.
The waiver is not forthcoming.
