A pair of Santa Rosa AM stations owned by troubled Moon Broadcasting Corporation is heading to a new owner, sold by a trustee pursuant to a divestiture agreement dating to late 2009. The stations are KRRS-AM and KTOB-AM.

The 12/18/09 agreement resulted in Scott Savage and his Savage Media Group being appointed trustee of Moon, and it is selling stations for the benefit of Moon and his lenders, with Wells Fargo Foothill Inc. getting special mention in the contract.

The price is $300K cash. In addition, Moon head Abel de Luna Sr. will make an FM translator K298AZ in Petaluma CA available to the buyer. Peter Handy brokerage Star Media Group represented the seller.

That buyer is California Broadcasting Company LLC, headed by Ambrosio Vigil.

KRRS is licensed to Santa Rosa, and operates on 1460 kHz with 1 kW-D, 33 W-N, DA2.

KTOB is licensed to Petaluma, and operates on 1490 kHz with 1 kW-U, ND.
