Salem Media Group Los Angeles VP/GM Terry Fahy is the new chair of the board of directors for the California Broadcasters Association. He was elected to the two-year post.
More than 1,000 stations are members of the CBA.
Fahy said he’d work closely with the board and CBA staff to help California’s radio and television broadcasters maximize their positive impact on their communities.
Salem’s Los Angeles cluster includes Christian Talk KKLA, Christian Music The Fish and newstalk stations KRLA and KTIE.
In October 2014, Fahy was appointed VP of Operations for Salem Media Group’s West Coast markets: Seattle, Sacramento, San Francisco and Ventura. He’s a 38-year broadcaster.
