“Take Me Out” rises; “The Choice” holds its own

FOXLive + Same Day Nielsen Ratings: Airing against the NBA Finals deciding Game 5 on ABC, FOX ranked third last night among Adults 18-49 and #2 among Adults 18-34.


TAKE ME OUT: 1.2/4, up +9% from last week in Adults 18-49 and up +19% in Total Viewers (3.1 vs. 2.6 Mil.)

THE CHOICE: 1.5/5, down one-tenth from last week in Adults 18-49 but up +17% in Total Viewers (4.2 vs. 3.6 Mil.)

THE CHOICE ranked #2 in its hour among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, behind the NBA Finals Game 5.

Competition

Due to the nature of live sports, Fast Nationals for ABC are approximate. Following Jimmy Kimmel Live Game Night at 8pm (2.4/9) and an NBA Pre-Game at 8:30pm (3.5/12), ABC’s NBA Finals: Miami Heat vs. Oklahoma City Thunder ended with Game 5 posting a 6.4/19 from 9-11pm, even with last year’s non-deciding Game 5, which posted a 6.3/17 from 9-11p in the Fast Nationals before rising to a 7.4/22 from 8:58-11:51p in the finals.  Last night’s game was down from last year’s series-deciding Game 6 (Sun 6/12/11), which posted an 8.6/22 from 8-11pm in the Fast Nationals before rising to a 9.7/26 from 7:59-10:48p in the Finals.

CBS ran repeats of The Big Bang Theory (2.2/8), 2 Broke Girls (2.1/7), Person Of Interest (1.4/4), and The Mentalist (1.1/3).

Following Part 2 of Justin Bieber: All Around the World (0.8/3) at 8p, NBC’s Saving Hope (0.5/2) dropped -29% from last week’s telecast (0.7/2). Closing out the night, Rock Center with Brian Williams (0.8/2) was even with last week.
