Beasley Soars As Cumulus Enters Danger Zone

Pre-Inauguration Day jitters among investors continued to influence Wall Street on Thursday, as the Dow Jones Industrials Average fell 72.32, to 19,732.40, and the Nasdaq Composite lost 15.57, to 5,540.08.


Pacing all gainers was Beasley Broadcast Group, which gained 95 cents, to $7.10, on much higher-than-average volume of 50,492 shares.

Meanwhile, a stellar Q4 earnings report from Netflix sent the OTT juggernaut’s stock up $5.15 a share, to $138.41.

On the negative side, all eyes are on Cumulus Media, which lost 2 important cents to end the trading day at 98 cents a share. At the same time, iHeartMedia was down 3 cents, to $1.07.

 

The RBR Radio Index rose 3.192, or 0.56%, to 573.210.
The TVBR Television Index fell 5.029, or 0.53%, to 942.537.
