Still Time to Protest Incentive Auction

FCCBoth incentive auction application rules, requirements and procedures have been published in the Federal Register.

That’s the forward auction in which television broadcasters voluntarily decide to give up their allocation and be re-packed, and the backward auction, in which the FCC re-auctions broadcast spectrum to wireless providers.

Federal Register publication starts a 30-day period in which station owners or others could seek reconsideration by the Media or Wireless Bureaus or the full commission.

Petitions to deny are due Nov. 30.
