Sinclair Broadcast Group’s WJAR-TV doesn’t propose to move very far – we’re talking one reverse click on the TV remote control – but it is trying to get some separation from the telco-appropriated lower 700 MHz band, and it has a proposal into the FCC to that effect.
If the station is able to clear off of Channel 51, T-Mobile will be able to begin developing spectrum it holds in nearby spectrum environs.
