FCCA new bidding schedule featuring three hour-long sessions held per day, which went into effect on August 23, has without a doubt sped up the FCC Forward Auction.

At the end of Round 21, some $20.57 billion was raised.

Starting with Round 22 at 1oam ET today, the FCC hopes to further speed up its Forward Auction—and bidding—by doubling the increment percentage used to set new clock prices for all spectrum in each round.
