S&P 500, Dow break three-day win streak

Stocks ended Thursday’s choppy trade generally lower. The benchmark S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average broke their three-day run as investors assessed a slew of mixed economic reports and earnings results. The Dow lost 21.97 points, or 0.1% to 16,558.87, retreating from the record closing level reached on Wednesday. The S&P ended the day less than a point lower at 1,883.68. The Nasdaq added 12.9 points, or 0.3% to 4,127.45.

The RBR Radio Index was down 16.861, or 1.8%, to 919.644.

The TVBR Television Index was up 16.905, or 2.1%, to 823.851.
