TritonDigitalWhat we know for sure is the practice of listening to streamed audio is still increasing sharply. Triton Digital has the latest stats.

The good news is that a lot of broadcast companies are in on the fun, as indicated by Triton’s top 20 list.

However, no company on the planet is in a position to challenge Pandora’s #1 status, nor is Spotify’s grip on #2 in any danger whatsoever.

For that matter, iHeart’s hold as the #3 service, and the #1 service among companies with a strong broadcast radio presence, is also currently unassailable.

According to Triton, MF 6A-8p average active sessions came to 4,198,667, a 40.7% increase YOY.

The inclines was even steeper for M-Su 6A-Midnight, with an AAS of 3,547,002 representing an increase of 45.5% YOY.

Here then is the top 20 list for July.
