Don’t think those “click the banner now” direct-response ads on your radio station’s internet stream work anymore?

Here is a solution that may greatly enhance your stations’ digital revenue.

On Oct. 4, Triton Digital announced that it had added representation of XAPPmedia’s interactive audio ads on internet radio service Slacker Radio.

This means that Triton, which has been repping Slacker’s audio inventory and programming for six years, is now offering advertisers the ability to engage with mobile-first consumers through voice-activated audio ads that have been integrated into the Slacker app.

The introduction of voice-activated could be a game changer for Slacker Radio. RBR + TVBR spoke with Slacker’s VP of analytics and monetization, Robert Wilde, to learn more about how it’s implementing the technology … and how broadcast radio stations may also benefit from its use.
