SBG / Sinclair Broadcast GroupHe’ll be responsible for the oversight of Tulsa OK, Little Rock AR, Roanoke/Lynchburg VA and others markets to be determined. The announcement was made by Steve Marks, Co-COO of Sinclair’s television group.

Said Marks: “James is a veteran of the broadcast space with large market and “big 3” network affiliation experience. Having held a key sales management position at Allbritton and given his familiarity with the stations and staff, he is the perfect choice to continue with us as a Group Manager overseeing some of these same markets we recently acquired. We look forward to building upon that foundation and expanding our market presence.”

“I am thrilled to join Sinclair as Group Manager for these markets,” commented Killen. “It will be an exciting new chapter for me, continuing to work with some of the best run stations in the country, while having the luxury of utilizing all of the new tools that Sinclair offers. It is

refreshing to join a company that sees the long term value of our industry and is willing to invest in our stations to make sure we continue to be market leaders.”

Killen most recently and from 2004 was Vice President of Sales for Allbritton Communications, overseeing seven television stations, NewsChannel 8 and Politico.
