Sherri Griswold named Chairman of Florida Association of Broadcasters

Sherri-GriswoldCCME/Ft. Myers’ Regional Market Manager, Sherri Griswold, has been named Chairman of The Florida Association of Broadcasters (FAB).  Griswold is the fourth woman named Chairman and officially began her role at a ceremony 6/25.


The Florida Association of Broadcasters lobbies and focuses on Florida specific issues in broadcasting as well as supports the efforts of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) in Washington, D.C. As Chairman, Griswold will lead the Executive Committee, which represents the Board of Directors.

“Sherri has been a long time Board Member and an active Executive Committee Member,” said Pat Roberts, President and CEO, FAB.  “She’s an outstanding leader and will represent the Broadcasters well as our new Chairman.”

“The FAB has already benefited from Sherri Griswold’s service on the board,” said Art Rowbotham, CEO of Hall Communications and past Chairman.  “She will be an outstanding and forward thinking Chairman.”

“I am honored to be one of four woman that has held this role over the last 80 years, and I have much respect for the Chairman that I am following including most recently Art Rowbotham and Claudia Puig,” said Griswold.  “Pat Roberts is a fearless leader and I look forward to working with him this next year and finding ways to continue to grow our efforts for broadcasting in Florida.”
