Just days into the 115th Congress, legislation is moving swiftly toward becoming law.
On Tuesday (1/24), no less than 16 bills were approved by the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation.
Among the bills now set for a full Senate vote is S.174, or the “Federal Communications Commission Consolidated Reporting Act.”
If that bill’s name sounds familiar, it should.
On Monday (1/23), H.R. 290, or the “Federal Communications Commission Process Reform Act of 2017,” passed the House unanimously by voice vote.
There are unique requirements of the FCC in the Senate bill, however.
