Dial Global and NBC Sports Radio announced that Rodney Harrison, the three-time All-Pro and two-time Super Bowl champion, will host a two-hour weekend NFL talk show for NBC Sports Radio. “Safety Blitz with Rodney Harrison” will debut on the weekend of 9/8.
In addition to his weekend show, Harrison will be featured during the week with live guest appearances on other NBC Sports Radio talk shows.
Harrison is an analyst for NBC Sports’ Emmy-nominated NFL studio show Football Night in America and has drawn significant critical acclaim for his blunt, hard-hitting style. Harrison began his tenure with NBC Sports as guest studio analyst for the network’s Super Bowl XLIII coverage after retiring from professional football. He won two Super Bowls during his eight-year run with the New England Patriots, which followed nine seasons with the San Diego Chargers. During his 15-year pro career, Harrison made three Pro Bowl appearances, and is the only player in NFL history with at least 30 career sacks and 30 career interceptions.

Launching 9/4, NBC Sports Radio will be distributed to radio stations nationwide by Dial Global. 100 affiliates are on board so far. Content will include hourly sports news updates, daily features as well as full-length shows.
