Cumulus announces that it has appointed 28-year radio veteran Rhonda McCormack as General Manager for NASH FM 92.3 in San Francisco. The appointment is effective immediately. McCormack moves to Cumulus from Clear Channel, where she was Vice President/Market Manager of its five-station cluster in Monterey/Salinas/Santa Cruz, CA, for eight years. Prior to that, she was Director of Sales for Clear Channel Monterey/Salinas/Santa Cruz.

McCormack also served as General Sales Manager for Entravision Communications in Monterey/Salinas/Santa Cruz for nine years.  Gary Pizzati, Senior Vice President for Cumulus, said: “As we develop our sales strategy for NASH in San Francisco, we needed the right leadership to spearhead this process. Rhonda is perfect for this role. She will effectively head the sales effort inside the fourth-largest radio market in America. We’re thrilled to have Rhonda as a part of the Cumulus family in the Bay Area.”

McCormack said: “I feel honored to be a part of this incredible opportunity. It’s such an exciting time to be a part of the Cumulus team as they continue to grow and launch new markets. Working for the Bay Area’s new Country leader, NASH FM, is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I am grateful to be a part of the journey.”
