RadioTraks goes mobile

RadioTraks announced EZ Trak, their online music research survey software, has been fully optimized for mobile devices.  This means that radio listeners who rate songs on behalf of their favorite radio stations may now do so on their Apple, Android and Windows phone and tablet devices.  The announcement follows six months of successful testing with select RadioTraks clients.

Said RadioTraks Vice President, Doug Burton: “The new platform automatically recognizes when a listener is entering a music survey from a desktop computer or a mobile device and seamlessly displays the appropriate rating interface.”  Burton added, “We saw the need for action just over a year ago when mobile traffic to our listener surveys touched 15% for the first time.  By mid-2012, when we began live testing, mobile traffic had grown to 25%.  Today, 33% of our survey traffic originates from tablets and mobile devices.  Listeners respond to survey invitations from the same place they check their e-mail and that’s increasingly from mobile devices.  Optimizing EZ Trak surveys for mobile is consistent with our goal of helping radio stations maximize their opportunities for productive listener engagement!”
