Radio, musicians team up for “We Can Survive”

CBS-Radio-LogoCBS Radio and its CHR KAMP-FM in Los Angeles are presenting the latest edition of the “We Can Survive” cancer-battling event, with the able assistance of an all-star cast of chart-topping musical acts.

The event, scheduled for 10/24/14, will be held at the Hollywood Bowl and will be hosted by air talent Carson Daly of the station known as 97.1 AMP.

Gwen Stefani, Taylor Swift, Pharrell Williams, Ariana Grande, Lady Antebellum, Iggy Azalea, Paramore and Sia are all on the performance list.

They join a stellar list that includes 2013 acts Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran and Brad Paisley.

Living Beyond Breast Cancer and Young Survival Coalition are the beneficiaries of the event, receiving $2 from every ticket sold.
