RAB / Radio Advertising BureauRadio Advertising Bureau is known as a national association, but it is also known to focus on a single locality. That will be the case 11/13/14 when it brings national radio experts to the New York State capital.

The session will convene in the Holiday Inn Suites and Conference Center in Latham NY. The market is, of course, Albany-Schenectady-Troy.

“This is a must-attend event if you’re in the advertising & marketing field here in the Capital District,” noted Erica Farber, president and CEO of the Radio Advertising Bureau. “This will be a day chock full of cutting edge research and insights tailored for the Albany market.”

RAB introduced the three national guests: “Grey Persons, Director, Borrell and Associates, will bring color to today’s media landscape with a focus on digital advertising and will shed light into local market spending patterns. Bill Rose, SVP, Nielsen Audio, will present the results from a recent study conducted by Nielsen Catalina Solutions which combined data from radio-audience measurement with shopper data from Catalina. Kim Vasey, Managing Partner/Director of Radio, GroupM, who is responsible for placing billions of dollars in radio each year will discuss the power of radio and the unique value it provides for advertisers and agencies when used right and in the right combination with other media.”

Also on hand, from the Albany area: Warren Garling, voice coach and past president of the Albany Ad Club will also moderate a panel with radio’s top talent including: Brian Cody (WFLY), Danie B. (WAJZ), Kelly Lynch (WGY), Walt Adams (101.3 The Jockey), Rodger Wyland (Fox Sports), Dr. John Cooper (PYX), Sean & Richie (WGNA).
