A 30-year radio industry veteran who most recently served as VP/Market Manager for Cumulus Media’s Lafayette, La., station group is heading to the Pee Dee region of South Carolina.

And, he’s joining a small broadcast company led by Bruce Mittman and Jim Leven.

P. Wayne Mulling is the new Market Manager for Community Broadcasters LLC’s Florence, S.C., cluster.

Mulling spent two years as Lafayette Market Manager before exiting at the end of 2016. Before that, he was the cluster’s VP/Sales for 1 1/2 years. He has also been Director/VP of Sales for Sunshine Media, based out of New Orleans. From 2000-2005, Mulling served as a regional VP of Advertising for Alltel.

“I am very excited to be joining Community Broadcasters in the great market of Florence,” Mulling said. “The potential of our staff and stations and what they bring to the table every day are almost endless for our community, listeners, and advertisers.”
