Job Description:
Announcers are the radio station’s voice and are often the people with whom the public identifies. This person introduces programs and music, reads commercial copy and public service announcements, and is involved in the overall public presentation of the station.

This currently is a Part-Time Position with No Benefits, but for those willing to learn and grow with New Media Broadcasters, this could become a Full-Time Career Opportunity offering health insurance, a 401K plan with employer match and paid vacations.

Education Required:
High School Graduate or G.E.D.
Additional Education or Life Experience in related communications fields a plus!

Experience Required:
Previous Broadcast Experience recommended, but Willing to Train those who show abilities, attitude and attributes that allow teaching the needed Skill Set to perform job duties.

Other Requirements:
Candidate must be able to demonstrate an ability to have a Quality On-Air Sound, Creativity and Imagination, Ability to Multi-Task, Ability to Time Manage and Prioritize Duties to meet Deadlines, and an active interest in the local community.

Studios are located approximately two miles North of City, and a vehicle with good ground clearance is recommended for winter conditions. Driver and Vehicle must be Licensed and Insured.
