As a 40-year programmer with experience in national and local management, ownership, and sales, as well as major-market programming and on-air experience, Mike McVay is a popular and well-respected industry pro.

On June 15, he’ll be moderating a Hispanic Radio Conference panel poised to bring deep intelligence and insight to audio content creation and distribution pros focused on reaching U.S. Hispanics.

McVay, who today serves as President of McVay Media Consulting, leads the discussion with his expertise as a full-service consultant in the areas of content creation, talent coaching, program consultation, production and imaging, podcasting and digital delivery.

Joining McVay as panelists for the Hispanic Radio Conference session, “Talent Development and Management,” are consultant Bob Perry, iHeartLatino SVP of Programming P.J. Gonzalez, and Grupo ACIR VP/Programming Manuel Fernandez Tellez, who created a digital effort that has become the No. 1 digital platform for radio in Mexico as part of an exclusive partnership with iHeartRadio for the Grupo ACIR brands, which include Spanish Soft Adult Contemporary “Amor,” Hot Adult Contemporary “Match” and Classic Hits-focused “Mix.”

The session will examine how to identify and develop on-air and off-air talent, best practices for talent management and retention, and offer a look at emerging talent trends and opportunities.
