Radio, TV to Work With Nielsen’s Kelly, Wender Now

Nielsen1Matt O’Grady, who was executive vice president and managing director of Local Media for Nielsen’s audio and television clients since Nielsen acquired Arbitron in 2013, is now moving to Nielsen Catalina Solutions.

Brad Kelly, senior vice president and sales director for Nielsen Audio, assumes Grady’s radio duties while Jeff Wender, senior vice president for Product Leadership, takes over O’Grady’s duties on the local television side.

O’Grady has been named CEO of Nielsen Catalina Solutions, which helps marketers, agencies and media companies define their audience based on consumer purchases, reach them with advertising, and measure the resulting sales. The joint venture between Nielsen and Catalina integrates media data for platforms from 90+ media companies and Nielsen People meter for television, the Portable People Meter for radio, Nielsen online and set-top box homes for television.

O’Grady will now report the NCS board. Nielsen assumed majority ownership of NCS in 2015.
