NRF sees happy holiday shopping season ahead

ShoppingAccording to the National Retail Federation, retailers lived through a “volatile” first half of 2014 and a quiet summer. But NRF believes they are due for a welcome shot in the arm during this year’s holiday gift-giving season.

NRF says retail sales for November and December are expected to climb by 4.1% to $616.9B. The estimate excludes autos, gas and restaurant sales.
