From 8-10 p.m. ET, “The Biggest Loser 12” averaged a 2.0/5 in 18-49 and 5.5 million viewers overall in a highly competitive time period that includes ABC’s premiere of “Last Man Standing” and the “Dancing With the Stars” Results Show, CBS’s “NCIS” and “NCIS: Los Angeles” and Fox’s Rangers-Tigers playoff baseball coverage.

From its first half-hour to its fourth, “The Biggest Loser” increased by 24 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.1 from a 1.7).

“Loser” is currently within a tenth of a point of last week’s official-national 18-49 rating and is matching its week-ago result in these preliminary fast-affiliate ratings.

At 10 p.m., “Parenthood” (2.1/5 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall) is up week to week by 5 percent in 18-49 rating (2.1 vs. 2.0) and 4 percent in total viewers (5.260 million vs. 5.047 million).  In the time period, “Parenthood” currently runs within 0.2 of a point of the top non-sports rating on ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and is #1 non-sports in adults 18-49 and #1 overall among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in women 18-49 and women 18-34.

Versus the same night last year, “Parenthood” is up 5 percent in 18-49 rating (2.1 vs. 2.0) and 13 percent in total viewers (5.260 million vs. 4.663 million).

Note that “Parenthood” added 37 percent to this next-day “live plus same day” rating when Nielsen issued “live plus seven day” results for premiere week.
