NBC's movie 'National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets' solid viewership

From 7-8 p.m., “Dateline NBC” (1.3/4 in 18-49, 5.9 million viewers overall) reported its highest 18-49 rating for a Sunday telecast since April 18, 2010 and its biggest overall audience for a Sunday edition since January 10, 2010. 


From its first half-hour to its second, “Dateline” grew by 17 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.4 from a 1.2), to move into a tie with “60 Minutes” from 7:30-8 p.m. (1.4 rating each for that half-hour). 

From 8-11 p.m., the 2007 feature film “National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets” dug up a 1.3/3 in 18-49 and 4.2 million viewers overall. 

From its first half-hour to its sixth, “National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets” grew by 45 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 1.1). 

For its final hour from 10-11 p.m., “National Treasure 2” was #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and total viewers and #1 in adults 18-34, men 18-34 and men 18-49.
