NBC's 'Law & Order: SVU' held its ground Thursday

At 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of “Community” averaged a 0.6/2 in 18-49 and 2.2 million viewers overall.  “Community” delivered its biggest overall audience since July 14 (pending updates).


At 8:30 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of Wednesday’s “Up All Night” preview episode delivered a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 2.6 million viewers overall.  Excluding sports, these are NBC’s top 18-49 and total-viewer results in the time period since May 19.   “Up All Night” built on its lead-in by 67 percent in 18-49 rating and 19 percent in total viewers.
 
From 9-9:31 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of “The Office” (1.4/4 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall) is tied for #2 in the half-hour among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and is #1 in men 18-34 (pending updates).  “The Office” hit summer highs in 18-49 and total viewers.
 
From 9:31-10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of Wednesday’s “Free Agents” preview episode delivered a 1.1/3 in 18-49 and 2.4 million viewers overall.  Excluding sports, this is NBC’s highest 18-49 rating in the time period since June 2.  

At 10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” averaged a 0.8/2 in 18-49 and 3.0 million viewers overall.  From its first half-hour to its second, “SVU” grew by 13 percent in total viewers (to 3.2 million from 2.8 million).
