NBC, 'The Biggest Loser' losing it, fourth-place

From 8-10 p.m. ET, “The Biggest Loser 12” averaged a 2.0/5 in 18-49 and 5.5 million viewers overall in a highly competitive time period that includes Fox’s “Glee,” “New Girl” and “Raising Hope,” CBS’s “NCIS” and “NCIS: Los Angeles” and ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” Results Show.  From its first half-hour to its fourth, “The Biggest Loser” increased by 18 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.2 from a 1.8).


At 10 p.m., “Parenthood” delivered a 2.0/5 in 18-49 and 5.0 million viewers overall.  In the time period, “Parenthood” currently runs within 1 share of #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and is #1 among those networks in women 18-34.
  
From its first half-hour to its second, “Parenthood” grew in most key ratings categories, including a gain of 5 percent in total viewers (to 5.1 million from 4.9 million), while rival dramas on ABC and CBS were down in most key measures.  In the 10:30 half-hour, “Parenthood” was #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and #1 in adults 18-34, women 18-34 and women 18-49 (tie).
