Bob Bakish is ready for his close-up.

The newly minted CEO of Viacom has been tapped to be one of two executives slated to give keynote addresses at NATPE Miami 2017 — the global deal-making confab that sees TV and platform executives secure the domestic and international rights to the latest first-run and syndicated shows.

Joining Bakish, a Viacom International Media Networks veteran who knows a thing or two about South Beach (VIMN is located at 1111 Lincoln Road, in addition to new Wynwood Arts District-adjacent studio and production space), is Nancy Duboc, President/CEO of A+E Networks.

Bakish is using the NATPE appearance as his official debut to the worldwide television community, and his keynote address will headline the NATPE Platforms track.

Dubuc will deliver the Opening Keynote.

NATPE Miami takes place Jan. 17-19, 2017 at both the Fontainebleau and Eden Roc Miami Beach resorts. RBR + TVBR Editor-In-Chief Adam R Jacobson will be shifting between the two venues, offering pertinent news and first-hand reports to readers.

Also attending NATPE Miami is Anthony E. Zuiker, the creator and executive producer of the critically acclaimed CSI franchise. He will speak as part of the Brands and Advertising track. Adi Hasak, creator and executive producer of NBC’s Shades of Blue and USA Network’s Eyewitness, will join NATPE Storytellers.
