NAB’s case against the FCC auction

CourthouseThe National Association of Broadcasters has outlined its complaint against the FCC to be presented in the DC Circuit Court, the main thrust of which is to protect coverage area, which in turn will protect television licensees and their viewers. Backup came from Sinclair, Nexstar and Raycom.

NAB argues that the FCC is shirking its duty to protect local television service purposefully in its effort to reclaim as much spectrum as possible for wireless use.
